What’s New @ Loadsurfer

Small Business Package

Our new Small Business Account is a great deal for members who don’t need access to unlimited posting. For just $50 per month (plus taxes), this new package permits members to post up to one truck per day onto the Loadsurfer website. Postings will not only be visible to the rest of the Loadsurfer network, but members with this package will also be able to see all the available freight in their selected area. This package allows for up to five single location users with additional users added to the account for only $10 per month (plus applicable taxes).

Equifax is Up and Running!

In today’s volatile environment, it is more important than ever to keep up to date about recent changes occurring in the credit standing of your business partners. Updated weekly, Loadsurfer now offers its members access to credit reports on most Canadian load posting parties.

Loads Per Page

To make it easier for you to scroll through your leads on www.loadsurfer.com, we have increased the number of leads per page from 10 to 20.

E-Mail Notification

Loadsurfer knows your time is important. We’ve recently included an automatic E-mail notification feature so that updates are sent directly to your inbox whenever a match comes up on the freight board.

J D Guarantee

As a result of our recent partnership with J D Factors, Loadsurfer is pleased to introduce you to the “J D Guarantee.” This enhanced feature was introduced to give some peace of mind to members by identifying loads that are pre-approved for factoring by J D Factors.

Pre-approved loads are indicated by the presence of a green “money bag” icon next to the load, which means that clients factoring their invoices through J D Factors can take the load knowing that the load is factorable. As a non-recourse factor, J D Factors also assumes the credit risk on these loads.

Please note that the lack of an icon does not indicate poor credit. Pre-approved loads simply meet certain predetermined criteria for factoring as defined by J D Factors. The lack of an icon can be due to a number of circumstances, such as the nature of the load, available credit for the load poster, the poster’s willingness to work with a factor, or simply a lack of available credit information at the time the load was posted. Clients of J D Factors receive unlimited free credit checks of all of their accounts, and even if a load doesn’t have an icon, there is a very good chance it may still be factorable.

For Load Surfer members, the J D Guarantee provides them with yet another tool that they can use to make sound business decisions. Although this feature should certainly not replace good business judgment, members who use the J D Guarantee can rest assured that they are dealing with bonafide companies who share the Load Surfer commitment to a fair and safe trading environment.

Surf for Loads

The truck posting page has been modified to allow users to post a truck from a single origin to a specific destination or it allows them to choose from any or all states and/or provinces. Although users still have to post their truck, this improved feature will enable them to see at a glance what freight has been posted to the areas that they are interested in. Users are also able to save this information in template form so that it can be posted easily whenever they need it, saving users the time of having to post several different trucks.

Exclude Feature

Located on the right-hand side of the “My Trucks” and “My Loads” pages, you can now select the ‘Exclude’ feature to hide yourself from any company you choose. Excluding yourself will prevent you from appearing in selected companies’ search results to help ensure you are not matched up with them in the future.
